Weight loss resumes

Maybe.

I lost 45 pounds from June 2021 to March 2022 on a 2,000-1,800/calories day budget. Then I stopped losing weight at 167 lb, and I felt that it had been a good run. My sleep apnea symptoms also seemed to have improved drastically. So I figured I would stop losing weight and just aim to maintain it. While “eating to maintain weight”, I quickly gained back 15 pounds. Sleep apnea came back. I got back on calorie counting and diet in September 2022 at 1,800. That did not work. So in January I switched to 1,550, and I finally managed to lose 2 lbs since last month. Maybe we’ll try to settle at around 150 lb this time, assuming there will be a slight rebound bump once I stop.
