After we moved, we had about 15 boxes and furniture in leftover items that we wanted to give away. A lot of it we didn’t need as we were moving in with my mother-in-law. We originally planned to do a yard sale style giveaway on 5/26, but changed our mind and decided to do it the same day we moved, in the afternoon.
A dozen people showed up but one person, let’s call him Gregor, claimed about 1/3 of the items. He managed to enter the apartment before we opened. He was sitting by our unit door like someone who is camping at the Apple Store the day before the new iPhone goes on sale. He also called his wife to bring a second van and together they loaded it all up over the course of two days.. crazy.
